You feel like you’re not making any progress like you’re moving on brittle ice.
Step by step. Week after week.
It’s cold. Not much sun. Winded, sneezing, breathing. Inside, briefly outside.
Working with Zoom. Texts, no spoken words. Emails and invoices via the internet.
Online-meetings! Customers on the other side of the closed door. Money in Ziplock bags.
Checks in the washer!
Handwashing! Mask Wearing! Bearing or Daring?
New rules, old worries.
Same symptoms but different.
One year later, all the same.
Love! Hate! Trust! Distrust!
Snow falling quietly.
This winter I will learn a lot.
About me!

I think you’ve captured the feel of it all VERY well, Bridget. Hard to believe!
[…] Snow! Winter & Omnicron […]
That’s strange, I know. Two years are gone and even after 3 doses we don’t feel safe. Wishing you speedy recovery.
At least we are able to talk to neighbours while shoveling snow from the driveway.
You know quite a lot about getting through stuff
So it seems 🙂
An amazing piece this is. Inspiring and entertaining 👏
Thank you for your kind praise.
You’re most welcome, my friend.
Let us hope that there is light at the end of the tunnel
There always is, just not easy to see sometimes.
I’m sure someone will let me know when they start to see the light. Until then I’ll be taking things easy!
You and me both.
I’d forgotten about all of this. 🙂
Thanks for reminding me. 🙁
You are welcome!
You really described the state of my heart… hopefully coming months will bring some joy 🙏
As soon as I will be healthy again, the snow will melt. 🙂
I hope spring will bring with it a feeling of lightness, health and renewed vigour.
I have high hopes.
