You have caused me great pain,
hurt and exploited me.
For eternity I have given you
whatever you needed to live.
I gave you water, food, light,
and for a long time, we were in balance.
You have cultivated me, cared for me
looked after, and cherished what I offered you.
But in the last hundred years,
Satan has probably gotten into you.
What lies dormant in me gets stolen
because you think you possess it.
You are drilling for oil in a thousand places,
polluting the seas, coasts, and springs.
You circle me senselessly, day and night,
and you are proud of how far you have come.
You have terribly injured me with wars
and destroyed precious habitats in the process.
You have exterminated plants and animals,
he who criticizes will be mocked by you.
You own greed, selfishness, and arrogance,
and you do not respect nature.
So I will now set an example
and hurt you the way you hurt me.
I will not rest, tremble in all my parts.
I send tsunami waves to cover your beaches.
Volcanoes will spew ash, the sun will be darkened.
I will bring hurricanes, rain, and soon mountains will move.
What you have built sky-high,
will be destroyed in one quick swoop.
Thunderstorms, you have never seen,
will strike from the firmament.
I can still do a lot of trouble,
so let the madness stop.

And many buried heads in the sand … for what???? Money. In the end when everything is gone, where will they spend it?
Climate change & guns are ignored with a shake of a head & this, “Climate change: I’ll be gone so why should I worry about it?” But how can anyone close a blind eye to what terror guns have brought. For the sake of politicians & greed more children will be lost.
What shall we leave our grandchildren???
We are suppose to leave this world better and make it a better place. We all seem to have it forgotten.
Money and power. A lot of heads in the sand, which means their butts are sticking out. Time to kick it?
