We had 50+ degrees yesterday. Must be the January Thaw. There was nothing to melt.
We had a brown Thanksgiving, a brown Christmas, and a brown New Years. I demand 2 blizzards at least in February and at least one in March. I would also accept one as late as April or May.
I’m hoping winter will melt away…it’s warmer these past few days, but I know that every year I am fooled into believing it’s over when it’s clearly not going to be over for several weeks.
It’s warmer here too. The birds are looking for food on the ground, the snow is melting -for now. I think there is more to come and I don’t mind it. Spring will be here soon enough.
Beautiful look at winter!
So well focussed
Cold, but beautiful! ❤️
Beautiful macro capture. 🙂
A lovely image, Bridget.
Thank you, Jo

It is amazing that this contains so much new life, just waiting to pop out when the time is right.
I find it fascinating as well.
