I’m in Nebraska. We’ve given up on being stylish, so we wear the parka, the flip flops, and the long johns under the shorts and t-shirts. We’ve also given up on propriety, so we just keep beer handy.
Years ago, when we arrived in Ohio we thought people here were crazy. They were wearing shorts and boots, some run to the store when it was only 50 F. Now we do the same. I don’t wear shorts and boots, but winter jackets, the big one, fluffy warm one, only comes out if it’s below freezing. 🙂
Yup. Last week the high temp was 1 or 2 degrees and it got to 14 below. Yesterday I headed to church in 20+ degree weather without a coat because it felt really balmy.
These big temp swings are annoying, but the brief warmth will soon last.
So relatable as a Midwest dweller haha!

I 100% agree. I live in Eastern Ohio. I wore shorts to work yesterday today they’re calling for a possible snow flurries.
