At the time, our lawn (that’s a stretch) had a lot of worn-out areas from neighborhood kids playing, and that’s where I planted the dandelions. As the one who primarily took care of the dirt patch (we had a push mower), nobody objected! 🤣
Reminds me … as a child I was required to pick – dig up – a bunch of dandelions from the yard before I could take off to play with friends. I learned quickly not to huff and puff at the frilly ones!!
I did take time to look that up and found they are quite nutritious. I’m sure I have eaten them in salads before …. probably at a high-priced restaurant. lol
Make a wish and blow! Lovely photo!
I need a handful of wishes. 🙂
I would send you any dandelions I find, but I don’t think the seed wishes would survive the trip. 🤗
I bet your would LOL
So delicate and lovely. A remarkable photo.
They are actually very beautiful. I am glad so many of us notice it.
As a young girl, I planted an abundance of white fluffy dandelion seeds to beautify our yard. Fabulous image, Bridget. 🙂
That is so cool. What did your parents say?

Digging up, because they were weeds? Or for eating?

Look at that dandelion. So pretty until the wind blows it away. This is a beautiful capture.
So true. It seems the wind transports them all into our yard. 🙂
lol
