    • They all of a sudden showed up in our neighborhood. White animals, like dogs, are often the sign of overbreeding and sadly, they are often disabled as well.

        I have heard a lot of times there is blindness or very poor vision for those animals. I hope the squirrel thrives!

I looked up how a white squirrel happens, and, of course, it’s a recessive gene thing. If both parents have that recessive gene you can get a white squirrel. So I think it’s inevitable that I’ll see one here someday.
