“Art in the Yard”

What an idea, to showcase art and craftwork in a neighborhood, for all to see, for all to admire. To share and to inspire.

To show what’s so often going on behind closed doors —for one weekend, for all to see.

Quilted flowers and blooming bushes.

Sculptured and planted.

Occupied benches.

A garage full of ideas.

Filled with fantasy?

Rock Garden or still life?

Leaves in all variations

Behind bars or set free?

A garage under water.

Roses for all seasons

Grounded

Cherry picking

Flowers and fruits, so delicate.

Imagination set free

Just some greenery

In a diverse neighborhood.

A very interesting neighborhood.

    • The weather was lovely. They planned it wisely for a summer weekend at the end of July.

So much imagination brought to the fore . . ., absolutely delightful . . .for me >the quiet ‘leaf art’ would have led to purchase methinks if able . . . pleasing both in colour and shape >>>

I love this. I have a friend in the UP of Michigan that makes art quilts. I have one of them hanging in my guest room. I love all the art you showcased, just a lovely idea.
