A sheep farm … not many of those around here that I know of. Mostly cows, pigs, and chickens. They look pretty mellow in this foggy morning scene. Nice photo!
We don’t have many sheep farms in the surrounding areas, but we live close to Amish areas and I like to go in that direction, because it’s peaceful. They still have sheep.
I am hoping to make it to the Amish communities near Iowa City next spring. We were going to go this year but never made it. I went as a kid once and I just remember the food was amazing and so much to see. (I have vivid memories of a virgin strawberry daiquiri with fresh strawberries that was fantastic!)
One of your early morning gems
Right now I get up between 4:30 am and 5 am. The early bird catches the picture. 🙂

The food is fantastic and the vegetables are organic, the meat is organic. Whatever they sell or cook with, it’s healthy and it doesn’t harm us.
I hope you guys will find the time to visit the places you want to visit. Make time!
We have done a lot more short trips this year and I am loving it. It is so nice to see new things.
A very close-knit community by the looks of it wondering why you are there . . . “) !
close-knit, no pun intended 🙂 (Good one)
On initial glance, I thought you had found some very long-legged sheep.
LOL. And this is the reason why I have six pairs of reading glasses…everywhere…somewhere.
