The older I get, the less I sleep. Today I got up at 5 am and even the dogs looked at me bewildered. Who in the right state of mind gets up at 5 on a Sunday.
I am not sure why, but since a week or so, we get spoiled with the most beautiful and spectacular sunsets and sunrises. I am glad you enjoyed it, Michele.
I have RA and like so many with a chronic pain disease or an autoimmune disorder, I wake up stiff and there is some pain. Interestingly enough, it goes away with movement. “Keep these joints moving…..” Also, we are owned by dogs and they don’t care if I want to sleep in or not. They have an inner clock that seems to beat mine. 🙂

Well worth getting up for sunrises, and I love the changing birdsong as the sun sets.
