Snow Birds?

Where there’s a will, there’s a way! Determined little fellow. He made room for the bigger birds. A snowbird, perhaps?

It’s still snowing, and I didn’t expect the birds on the feeder, but they are hungry, and I have my morning coffee watching them.

The lonely Starling came back with his family. They seem to have some issues.

No worries. I won’t post the videos every day. I am just having fun. It’s such a fascinating thing to watch. A close-up without physically being close.

I love these! It is so fun to watch birds do their thing. I remember many summers at my grandparents house watching birds in the bird bath and feeders from the porch. Keep sharing all you want!

You and another friend of mine got these bird feeders at the same time and you are both enjoying them so much.

    • They are fun. Right now the camera is dead. A layer of snow on top and I am not going to shovel my way to the feeder before the weekend.

Thank you for sharing – a change from our big, noisy and oft dangerous flying friends 🙂 ! Our magpies have sent more than a few into hospital!

    • I heard about magpies, they are as naughty as seagulls.

They are far more than ‘naughty’ – their babies are born in spring and they are very protective – have their nests everywhere one cannot even guess. If you get anywhere near a nest you will likely lose your eyes and have your head half- torn apart. Many bike riders near their usual haunts wear a cap with eyes printed on the back – they don’t attack from the front so can be fooled. They really ARE dangerous!

thanks for posting! I can’t get the cardinals or goldfinches to come to the cam feeder, they like the other one better! (I think it’s the perch…. there isn’t much of one on the cam feeder). I enjoy watching the birds!

    • The cardinals live in our yard. They come by every morning and again late in the afternoon. They are family 🙂 I love birds.
