It seems like the daily prompt is back to normal for the moment, but I still would like to keep the writing challenge going.

Write about your favorite painting. Why do you like it? What’s the story behind it, do you know? And why is it special to you?

Unfortunately he passed away a year or so ago. But he was very good with color.

When I read the prompt inmediately I thought of Van Gogh’s “sunflowers” , like Gerald….
My inconscious must have overwhelmed me(once more) , because I don’t entirely agree with this choice , actually….

I like Vincent’s ‘sunflowers’. Mr Van Gogh never sold a single painting during his entire life, yet brought sunshine to the world ever since. One would have to admire that. Thank you Vincent!
Why don’t you make a post about it? People like your way of writing
