…
This picture, taken at our last hiking tour, was meant to be posted on my next Wordless Wednesday but I struggled, so much came to my mind. The truth needed to be revealed because at first glance the message would be misleading.
A frozen fruit, a relict of last summer, a rosehip covered with the first snow.
A beauty in color, a still-life so freely given by nature.
Oh, what an eye for simple beauty I have!
But, I wasn’t the only one, and neither was I the first one to see it.
Truth to be told. I was the last to notice it.
I had been busy taking pictures of human chaos.
This is the 21st century. Cameras everywhere, taken pictures that soon will be forgotten and never looked at again.
As usual, I avoided faces and got lucky!
There it is the truth:
…

…
It was all but a still-life, all but a quiet hike in nature. Look at them. Everybody was eager to get the best shot, the best angle, the best zoom-in.
Well, I think I won! I took a picture of the truth!

Beautiful♥️
So much snow!
Capturing the capture…that shot of everyone lining up their shot is perfect. 📷
I thought so.
Well done 🙂
Thank you, Anne.
…”avoided faces and got lucky”…
Thank you for sharing. Both the photo and the action shot of the photographers…love your message. 💕
Thank you for stopping by.
🥰
Two winners in one post. Well done
Thank you, Derrick. It’s funny what’s hidden behind the scenes.
Great writing and photo!
Thank you, Joanna.
You’re welcome
👏🏻
When someone sees that someone else is taking a photograph of something picture worthy, it raises eyebrows and cameras. The rosehip was a beautiful capture. 🙂
The rosehip was beautiful. It was an old cemetery and the climbing rose guards where everywhere.
I am cracking you laughing from this!! Best ever!! TRUTH
I giggled too.
Embrace the Chaos!
(Embracing) 🙂
