An honest barber in Texas, two paid days a week in Brazil, a 99-year-old flying on the wing of an airplane, and one million meals for hungry people. There is so much light and goodness in this world. I like to focus on it more. My soul needs it.
I didn’t expect a Hitler-Mussolini. Almost as odd as a competition of the sleep-deprived. “Hey, I have a cough and the flu. I don’t sleep right now. Can I be one of the contestants?”

The weekend edition is my favorite. On Saturday morning, I have time to scroll through all the news outlets and find what I think might be newsworthy.
No routine politics. No ordinary crime dressed up as weird news, and no election scandals or dirty laundry. Just the ordinary life of ordinary people being odd at times.
