Nothing has changed. I am still searching for my morning laugh every day but yesterday I decided to look a recipe up first because my Prince Charming had wished for Smashed Burgers and so searched for suitable, short, and easy recipes.
After that, I would go on with my normal morning routine, which includes a cup of coffee and a smoothie and a few minutes full of giggles and smiles, which is mostly provided by YouTube these days, or by our clown dogs.
Not in my wildest dreams did I think a recipe could make me laugh. What’s so funny about burgers?
You be the judge! (Or perhaps I am just a weird older lady who is easily entertained these days?

The best cooking video ever! Thanks for the chuckles!
You are very welcome. It is too good to not share it.
That was very funny! Thanks.
You are so welcome, Darlene. I hope all is well.
Ha thanks for that! It truly was entertaining!
I am glad you felt entertained.
After a long week I got my dose of Friday fun 😀
Good. Perfect timing!
There was definitely a whole heap of crustitude and flavortude in this recipe. Now I’m hungry!
“A heap of crustitude” indeed.
‘Crispy water’ is such a perfect description of lettuce! What a fun video 🙂
That one will stay with me. I don’t think we will ever have iceberg lettuce in our home, just crispy water or shredded water.
It not only made me laugh, but also taught me something! Many thanks
Oh good.
Wang jangle is good
“Wang jangling” is now my new word in the kitchen (and perhaps in my workroom too)
That was funny 😆 thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
I’ve enjoyed this “chef’s” videos before, but this one is particularly good. Thanks for sharing it, Bridget. 🙂
I am glad you enjoyed it too. It’s a breeze of fresh air in the world of cooking videos.
Oh my gosh, that burger looks sooo delicious! Wow… ❤️🙏🏻😊
My husband enjoyed the burger very much. I made it exactly as shown, but of course I didn’t scratch the cheese off the cabinets. 🙂
He is a lucky man! I saw the processed cheese and thought that a different quality of cheese might give the burger some extra zest. 😋😊
I used pepper jack cheese because my husband loves the spicy stuff.
Oops, my bad! I looove pepper jack!
Funniest cooking video I have seen yet. I could be convinced to watch cooking videos with this kind of humor!
I normally don’t subscribe to YouTube videos but I had to. I need more of it 🙂
Pretty funny.
How do you get your mouth round that? And I don’t need the mayo.
The smash patties are really very thin and the bun is very airy. I don’t eat burgers on a bun (I don’t eat gluten and eat plant-based mostly) but my husband really enjoyed it. It’s not huge like regular burgers. As for the mayo that’s personal preference I suppose. It did smell very good.
You Suck at Cooking is hilarious, especially Pepper, pepper, pepper. We used to watch a lot of these and some are just plain crazy. Laughs are required these days. Allan
Laughs help us to stay sane in this election and in all the craziness around us. Thank you for watching. I am so glad you enjoyed it.
That was hilarious.. the shredded water thing 😂 thank you 😊
“The shredded water thing” gave me the giggles too. It’s very good and very informative on top of it. We actually cooked the burger as seen, and my husband enjoyed it very much.
I’m tempted too… but might sub out the shredded water for some green leaves that actually contain nutrients 😂😂
What….not the shredded water thing? 🙂
Ah non… it won’t grow in my garden because it rains too much here in Brittany 🤣
