The lid has been broken for a while, I thought it would be perfect for the bird food. I suppose it is, just in a different way.
I had to laugh when I turned around and saw the squirrel coming out of the container. I had looked up at the right time.
Not in my wildest dreams did I think the little critter would manage to get into the container with the bird food.

They are smart little critters and can do great acrobatics to get food out of a feeder so I am not surprised he was able to get into the container. Cute little guy!
Our house squirrel is very handsome and very entertaining.
Smart squirrel-that’s why he’s pleasingly plump! 🙂
“Pleasingly plumb” I have to remember this the next time when I see our neighbor. LOL That was a good one.
Very polite, though, going in and getting one piece rather than sitting in there eating it all.
Well, Vader, our dog is watching him behind the sliding glass door. I think that might have something to do with the way the squirrel is abusing the bin. 🙂
Such a good video
Thank you, Derrick.
Thanks for sharing, Bridget…devious little booger but cute, too! 😜
It’s our house squirrel 🙂
This fella needs to eat less and move more! 😂
I think he looked fluffy yesterday because it’s so cold.
Ah, a good point! They may puff up like small birds do, so cute!
They are accomplished thieves and fun to watch…but so annoying too!
They can be very annoying but in our case this particular squirrel is part of our dogs morning exercise routine. Up and down the fence line they go. I swear the squirrel is waiting for the dogs every day.
Squirrels are quite ingenious! So cute.
It really surprise me seeing it in the food bin.
Cheeky little thing! 🙂
He is a happy little bugger.
And well fed, too! 🙂
