I had to laugh because it’s true. Last night we cut down the cardboard boxes, because Monday is trash collection in our area.
I hope the donkey doesn’t come in a box.

I just had 5 things come to me by way of shipping today… including a certain hardback book! 😁 I am hoping to get the rest of my stuff local now. Let me know what you name the donkey!
Oh, my goodness. Does it look ok? I haven’t seen my own hardcover book. It will be delivered after New Year. Thank you so much for ordering my book.
Yes it looks great! You are most welcome, my friend!
Haha, good one! 🤣
Truth
😂 That made me laugh too. Amazon boxes have a very distinct personality where I live — a faint eau de dung that demands immediate action. I flatten and chuck them out as fast as I can, usually while holding my breath like I’m defusing a bomb. So yes, let’s all hope the donkey stays firmly outside the box!
Thank you for a wonderful laugh! Disapprove of how Amazon functions but, living in my country neck of the woods and being a ‘Prime’ customer, it is a wonder how fast (and correctly) ‘everything’ arrives. The ‘Donkey’ is gorgeous 🙂 !
This is hilarious! Thanks for the chuckle, Bridget. 🙂
😁😊🤭
So true. I think there’s 4 things I’ve ordered that have not arrived. Maymybr I didn’t really order them. Maybe I’ve been scammed. I don’t know
I’ve mostly picked up small things in the local shops but I have a neighbour who definitely qualifies xx
I had a million packages coming in, mostly Amazon. Just like last year, we ‘adopted’ seniors in a senior center and even though they have small wished, it added up. My workroom is full with ‘stuff’ and every day people drop of more, and more packages arrive. Some things are even for my husband and friends.
Haha, so true! For me, it’s not the boxes but the dollar amounts that show up in my credit card spending. If someone took my card and went on a shopping spree on Amazon, I probably won’t know unless it’s a big amount.
