Yes, you are right. I will never understand why we have so many “European Starlings” in Ohio. How did it happen that they ended up in North America to begin with?
I only see them for a few days in the winter.

Well, I have to confess. We have a heated birdbath in our yard. Also, I feed the birds (and squirrels) in the wintertime or during a drought.
