It looks like a Corn Bunting to me. They are very rare now in the UK; in fact, I think they can only be found in Scotland now.
It’s been a very long time since I saw a Corn Bunting.
I have never seen a bird like it. Angie, my friend who works at the bird-of-prey sanctuary told me it’s a Lincoln Sparrow. I haven’t heard of either bird. I thought it was a sparrow. They don’t introduce themselves, which is rude. 🙂
