I have never seen a white squirrel either . . . how special and beautiful! Methinks they are beautiful animals but I had huge fights with them back in my northern birthland as a small child, walking in the parks with Daddy 🙂 ! I loved collecting eichorns – well, so did they and could they ever bite hard !!!
We have a family of white squirrels here in our neighborhood. They are not albinos, but rather a different species. We don’t call them squirrels, they are the dog’s exercise. It’s funny to watch them. The dogs look for the squirrels to chase them along the fence and I swear, I see the squirrels waiting for the dogs. It seems to be a game they all enjoy equally.
Haha-doesn’t have horns. Black squirrels are common in Kent, OH and migrated east. I just saw one in Boardman Ohio. He looked like a shadow moving up the tree.

We have some black squirrels in our area, but I’ve never seen a white one. Good capture. 🙂
