Today I want to shine a light on people doing good things, not organizations, businesses, or governments. Just ordinary individuals like you and me doing remarkable things all around the world.

Of course, I might be biased, because I was born and raised in Austria and went to school in Bavaria. Reading about a flashmop for CPR in Austria, Braunau, a city that’s mostly mentioned in a negative way, because Hitler was born there, made me very proud. Every week I find remarkable stories all over the world. May it be a sign-language travel group, or an Alpaca herd in the alps.

Today’s edition is about people: courage, unusual achievement, remarkable service, art, books, teachers, volunteers, young people and a few stories that simply deserve to travel farther than they normally would.
