“Look this is the one,” I said. “I saw it moving, this must be the special snowflake.”
“They all will move after it warmed up,” she replied.
“But this one moved first,” and I pointed to the melting snowflake.
I knew what she would say. There are no special snowflakes; they are all alike, in the end, they all melt.
“I don’t think they are all alike, there are special ones,” I insisted.
“Then what makes you think it’s the first one?” she asked, “Maybe it’s the last one that is special.”
“See, there are special ones, I knew it!”
Word count: 100. Written for this week’s Friday Fictioneers prompt. It’s the first time that I participate. I had fun; you might want to check it out as well. Click >>>here<<< and the magic online carpet will transport you!
Thank you!

Dear Happy Quitter,
First congrats on quitting. 😉 And second, welcome to Friday Fictioneers. I enjoyed the dialogue.
Shalom,
Rochelle
Thank you for the warm welcome. It was fun, I enjoyed it.
Nice to meet you,
Bridget
Lovely tale…snowflakes aren’t alike for sure 🙂
It was my first time too.
Thank you for your kind words. 🙂
That’s very much like a sibling dialogue. Well done.
Thank you Sandra!
There’s no arguing with that logic! Lovely story 🙂
Thank you!
Sounds like an argument that I would have had with my sister. You did a good job with your 100 words. Welcome.
Tracey
I was just in the middle of writing a rant post and now I have a hard time staying upset, after reading your nice comment. 🙂
Thank you, Bridget
Never let me get in the way of a good rant.
Welcome to Friday Fictioneers! I’ve actually only been doing it two months(about the amount of time I’ve been blogging).
Great story and I’ve heard that each snowflake is unique.
Oh, how sweet of you to welcome me. I wasn’t sure if I should or could but had a ball.
Yes, indeed every snowflake is unique, it just takes one to notice. 🙂
Cute story. It’s a great exercise to write these, as well as fun 🙂
love this 🙂
I always wanted to the the Friday Fictioneers. That was fun, I had to cut 53 words from my original story.
Very, interesting challenge for a blabbermouth like me. 🙂
