A Voice of Reason

I have written a post after every mass shooting, but now I am at the point that I don’t know what to say anymore.  The hope I had, has been buried under a pile of dead bodies. While many of us wish for stricter gun laws, Congress will soon vote on a bill to ease the sale of silencers. I am lost for words and simply don’t understand it anymore.

Jimmy Kimmel made a very emotional speech after the Las Vegas Mass shooting, he said it better than I ever could. 9 minutes that are worth watching; 9 minutes that I would like to share.

The impression we get from here is that the most eloquent, rational views on your country come from the late night hosts. It’s about time politicians took notice and actually did something positive.

  3. So very sad, on so many counts. I do not have the words to describe my feelings, or my anger, on behalf of all those who died, and all those left behind.

    • I have mixed emotions as well. Sadness, anger, confusion. I am speechless -again.
