Looks like where we are in the Woodstock NY area–for the first time in years (we moved here recently), I have to wake up to make sure the pellet stove is still running or else we, and cats and the pipes, all freeze. So far good enough, and it makes me feel young again since last time I did it was college days pretty much–

Snow can be pretty and ugly at the same time. Your photo reflects both.

True! Actually, I would prefer pretty or ugly snow right now rather than the bitter cold.
