But Only If It Swims In Milk

That’s an easy one. My Dream Chocolate Bar is as light as a Milky Way that swims in milk. Of course, you only know that if you are my age because we can’t remember what we ate or wore yesterday, but we remember old lyrics and old commercials (not so sure if this is helpful).

Oh, and of course you have to speak Austrian-German, or German, or Swiss-German or any other kind of German to understand the commercial (or not because it’s pretty self-explaining). You will get the picture and it won’t leave you alone (I am proof of it because I remember it 40 years later). The European commercials for Milky Way between 1986 and 1995 tried to convince us of the lightness of the product. (Please, don’t ask if I tried it and yes, it does swim in milk).

Where was I? Ok, back to my Dream Chocolate Bar. It doesn’t contain any chemicals that I cannot pronounce, so of course -and I must insist- it’s organic, made from scratch, handcrafted by a chocolatier, like in the Lindt commercials -which of course are nonsense, but who would question a chocolatier on TV. If it’s on TV it must be true, right?

My dream chocolate bar is also vegan, no eggs from traumatized chickens (or happy pasture-raised chickens or any other form of chickens) were involved in the making. Also, it has of course no calories. It’s dairy-free and gluten-free and it doesn’t contain any added sugar.

The wrapping paper is, of course, recycled and the color of the paper is purple, or perhaps an elegant black, or maybe just a friendly orange. This also depends on my mood, which today is purplish.

My dream chocolate bar has no expiration date and it doesn’t cost anything, but the time it takes to dream.

Well, what can I say, if you dream….dream big.

And there you go, another silly question answered by silly little (not so little) me.

So, that’s enough fun for today, back to work. Vader wants to play ball.

Mmm… Milky Way Midnight. But I could also go for a Carmelo, Mounds, or any number of truffles from the local chocolate shop! Have to remember to check out their sugar free candy one of these days.

    • I’ve never tried the Milky Way Midnight as for Caramelo, that’s just sinful 🙂

Well, German is really my ‘Heimsprache’ but it’s the Baltic German type 🙂 ! Love chocolate! Dark, at least 75% . . . uhuh: one of those 🙂 ! But think the description of your ‘dream chocolate’ is so absolutely gorgeous that not only am I clapping loudly enough for you to hear but shall be ‘showing’ it to friends . . .

    • I don’t ‘chocolate’ often but when I do, then it’s the sinful kind. Truffles or dark chocolate with orange zest. Yummy.

I think I heard your clapping between the lines. 🙂

  7. Yes! Dream big! Like a giant party sized chocolate bar (having freshly swam in the milk) that never seems to end. I LOVE Vader by the way. 🤍

  9. If you subscribe, you save 30 percent off every order with free shipping. I order in bulk every 3 to 6 months. Six boxes of 12 bars cost me $167.96 or $2.33 per bar. You can tweek delivery dates and discontinue anytime. I’ve tried lemon, pumpkin, and red velvet. I prefer chocolate. Candy bars are close to the same price now. 😋

  10. Paleovalley’s Dark Chocolate Chip Superfood bars have ingredients that may appeal to you. They’re so good-better than a Milky Way! Details here: https://paleovalley.com/

    • Milky Way was my favorite candy bar when I was a kid. As for today, I very seldom eat chocolate and when I do then it’s organic chocolate. As for the product, it sounds divine but is over my chocolate budget with almost $4 per bar (including shipping), that’s steep. I need to look if I find them locally before ordering 12. Do you like them and if so, what flavors have you tried?

My mom. Loved Milkyway bars, in the 60s and 70s. We didn’t havevthem often though, as they were frivolous and that was not allowed often.

    • It’s because the American TV didn’t show the ‘swim in milk’ commercial 🙂
