Kids are a magnet to water. I know there are a couple of splash pads in the area that the kids love! This is a great shot of swimming in the shallow end!

    • I love watching kids play in the water. I was a ‘fish’ myself when I was younger and only got out of the water when my lips turned blue 🙂

    • It’s actually the drain ditch around an open fountain. The kids had a blast.

    • No it isn’t. It’s just about 1/2 foot. It’s around a fountain and I think the city is putting the setting on “high” for the kids in the summertime.

    • I should have taken a picture further away too. It’s a very modern, open fountain. The kids or dogs can run through it in the summertime. The boys and girls had a ball and in the water, it’s kind of a drain ditch around the fountain.

    • LOL it’s to shallow to drown, just a summer playground for the kids. It’s a drain ditch around an open fountain.

Fascinating photo. Is the boy a REAL boy or painted onto the bottom of the waterway? How deep is the water? A lot of food for thought …

    • It’s a real boy, just trying to cool off. It’s a fountain, one without a basin. Kids and animals can run through it. It’s a very hot summer this year, so all the kids seem to enjoy it.
