This is wonderful! I love to see (what I assume was) kids doing crafts and more importantly the parents taking pride in it and displaying it for them. This is great!
I loved it so much. Very creative and also not expensive to make. So many whine that they don’t have money to celebrate the Holidays. Our neighborhood forums are full with people asking for ‘handouts’ for decoration. It was nice to see something so creative.
I very rarely complain about not having enough money for Christmas. BUT when the bills show up in January I do feel the pain from my love of gift giving! Lately it has been more rent help requests around here. I just wish there was a way to tell which people really need the help and who is just holding out their hands. I do know a gal I worked with for a while is thankfully surrounded by a very giving community… a week ago today she had a house fire and lost everything. All the kids and her husband got out ok (she was out at the time), but they say it was caused by Christmas lights. So sad when there is that profound loss any time of year, but it hurts a little more around a holiday I think.
