I am always so happy when the blue jays show up.
My question – what happens next? How does pretty bird get the shell off and the insides down his handsome throat ?
We have a peanut feeder in our yard. It takes me more time to fill it up than it takes the birds to take them out (and the squirrels).
They crack them open and enjoy the nuts, and it all happens so quickly.
