I remember those days fondly. Of all the places to go… we walked to the local cemetery and just beyond the back of the actually cemetery was a great hill the neighborhood used to sled. Looks like fun, but I think now I would never be able to make it back up the hill when I was done.
Oh what fun! Would you believe we here in Australia at the moment oft get an Amazon ad for sitting cushions for small sleds for either snow- or sandhills using three ladies in their 60s or 70s having fun tootling down a steep slope ! Comes on ten times a night!! Nought to do with children! And, yes, we do have snow in winter but the sandhills are very popular for all ages 🙂 !
