Laugh of the Day

While it’s a serious matter, I couldn’t help but smile.

On a serious note: Cyclospora is a foodborne parasite that can cause severe gastrointestinal illness. It has been linked in the past to fresh produce such as herbs, salad greens, and berries.

For now, given the recent outbreak in the USA, it’s best to avoid fresh produce until we have it under control.

Be safe! Stay healthy!

    • It’s going around and it will pass quickly. Perhaps our government will find the time to come up with the source of it soon (but not holding my breath).

    • It’s going around here and it’s bad. My editor’s sister in law got it so bad, she was hospitalized and went into septic shock. They got her on heavy antibiotics, which seems to be the only cure. I life a mostly vegan lifestyle and will not use fresh produce for a while.
