On the 24th of December, on Christmas Eve, a customer emailed me and asked when she could drop off her sofa. When I heard the notification sound on my phone, I picked it up because I was sure it was either family or a friend who just wanted to wish us a Merry Christmas.
I wish I could go around in my neighborhood and give out some brain. Some of our neighbors seem to be in desperate need of some increased thinking power. Wait, maybe they don’t require more brain but a user manual instead.
I hated Thanksgiving for so many years. It was my nightmare Holiday and I was always glad when it was over. Thanksgiving is a cruel Holiday when you don’t have family left; it makes you feel like an outsider looking in.
