Have you done something you truly want to do today?
No, I haven’t…but the day isn’t over yet; There is room for improvement 🙂
What can you help the world with?
I am not so sure how I could help the world, other then asking young people to leave their comfort zone. “You can’t understand a person until you have walked a mile in their shoes,” I believe that to be true.
I wish young people would explore different countries, foreign languages, unknown religions and cultures, before they settle down. I am not talking about a vacation or a cruise, I am talking about an adventure. Go to a place that could make your feel uncomfortable at first. Explore the unknown and be open minded. 3-6 months as an exchange student or live-in-nanny with a family, will do wonders. I think it widens our horizon and it breaks down the walls that exists only in our heads.
Being a foreigner in a country is a miracle cure for arrogance and ignorance!
If life was ‘just a bowl of cherries’… which fruit other than a cherry would you be..?
I would like to be pear, please.
I love pears in every form and way. I make pear butter, pear upside down cake, salad with pears and thanks to menopause, even my behind starts to looks like a pear now (Thanks menopause).
Quotes List: At least three of your favorite quotes?
Laughter is timeless, imagination has no age and dreams are forever. (Walt Disney)
Your naked body should only belong to those who fall in love with your naked soul. (Charlie Chaplin)
Simplicity is the keynote of all true elegance. (Coco Chanel)
Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
I am not into astrology, but it appears that many of my really good friends are born in March; so I have a lot of birthdays coming up and I am looking forward to it. I am known and feared for my crazy ideas and presents and I just can’t resist funny aging cards. I mean seriously how can you? Some of them are hysterical and nothing is more fun than making fun of a friend and laughing together.
As for last week, I am grateful it’s over. 🙂
Thank you for this weeks questions Cee. I had fun as always.

“Being a foreigner in a country is a miracle cure for arrogance and ignorance!” That’s sure how it worked for my kids when they spent a couple summers working at an orphanage in Imuris, Mexico. Best thing we ever did for them.
“even my behind starts to looks like a pear now (Thanks menopause).” LMBO! I’m afraid I’m an apple. 🙁
“Your naked body should only belong to those who fall in love with your naked soul. (Charlie Chaplin)” What a beautiful quote!
Great post!!!
I’m not a big fan of pears – I find them rather bland. I outright dislike the shape reflected back at me in the mirror :/
… and I love the Disney quote. Today I shall laugh and let my imagination wander 🙂
We are on our way to the wedding shortly and I know we will have a wonderful time. I am a bit nervous about the speech, but also excited.
Have a great weekend my friend, let your imagine wander and laugh a lot 🙂
