rules over our lives
and is the final judge
in all quarrels, we cannot
solve otherwise.
The way they rule depends
on who is sitting on the bench.
The left rules liberal
the right thinks otherwise.
I wish all of them would be neutral,
independent and free thinkers,
not tight down by politics
that indeed would be supreme.

The judiciary should be independent of government, and not be political appointments. This is blindingly obvious – except to those with a vested interest.

They’re supposed to make their decisions based on the existing law and the constitution, and not on their personal biases and beliefs. It’s still a good system for representing us all. Wasn’t serving on the SC meant to be a lifetime position? There are rumblings of a Kennedy/Trump deal? That would not be good. 🙁

Another white man will be sitting on the bench. Many of us don’t feel represented anymore. I don’t like the idea that politics and/or religious believes can (could) dictate a ruling.
It’s not supposed to. DT is an artist at finding loopholes and If the justice can find proof within the law to justify their position they’ll lean towards that bias.
