Great quote! I thought it might be a good reminder, at a time, when the free press is being attacked over and over again. As a matter of fact, I want to thank all the brave women and men who -with their pencils and keyboards- try to shed some light on some things that are hidden in the dark.
To me now it’s clear. You cannot love America and Trump at the same time. It’s either or.

My partner told me about a BBC radio programme in which the ghost writer for Trump’s book ‘The Art of the Deal’ gave a very frank portrayal of the man, with a lot of reasons why he absolutely NEVER be elected as president. I think he got to know him well!
A great quote and not just timely for America, but for ‘democratic’ nations everywhere. It isn’t just about the right to vote, but also the checks and balances in place to ensure the government serves its electorate.
Good to see you. I loved the quote as well, a great reminder of a democracy that seems to be disappearing.
Holy Flaming Hell Balls. What does it take to get a dangerous madman out of office?
Millions of people are asking the same question right now. The Republican party seems to think this all is normal. Power and party first, America second.
You’ve said a mouthful here – power and party first 😖
He should take Constitution101 course
I naively thought all the stuff about conflict of interest with business and with family members, incompetence, interference by foreign powers, and treason were good reasons to get rid of him. I guess they’ll wait until he puts someone completely inappropriate in the Supreme Court and then won’t need him anymore, so then he’ll get impeached or knocked off or whatever they do–what a sad mess. Best wishes to all–and no, I don’t know exactly who ‘they’ are, although it’s been speculated upon online.
Quite a mess indeed. A sad state of affairs.
