No mistake. lol Another blogger just posted that this was Dolly Parton’s 80th birthday. And I had responded to her about a song I liked of hers etc. I had never heard of “Coats of Many Colors”. And then you responded here. It was really funny. Anyway no problem. 🙂
The woodpeckers live in our yard. We have high pine trees, in between the yard,s and of ocourse I bribe them with extra nutty treats in the bird feeders. :_
Wow. I have not seen a bird marked like that. Is it a woodpecker? It’s kind of like our Downy woodpeckers, but those just have a red spot on their head, I don’t think they’re all red like that underneath.
We have three different kinds of woodpeckers. They all have similar markings at first glance but are so different. I haven’t looked it up and I don’t know the difference between a female bird and male wood pecker. I need to fix that.

What a gorgeous bird! Easy to hear in the woods, harder to find.
They seem to love pine trees. They are everywhere, at least here where we live.
I hope they are tucked tightly into their nest for this bitter cold that is coming. Stay warm, my friend!
A lovely shot of a beautiful bird.
They are gorgeous.
😊❤️
Lovely
Wow!
Thank you, Rupali.
Wish someone could tell him how cute that red bottom looks . . . you are a popular lady to get such beauties wanting to dine in your garden . . .

Just going about his business, lovely!
Thank you, John.
Gorgeous pic, Bridget! 💝
Thank you, Victoria.
This fellow looks happy and content to me with his coat of many colors.
I am not a Dolly Parton fan (or don’t like country), but I like this song too. 🙂
Was the bird singing a Dolly Parton song?
“Coats of many colors” is a Dolly Parton Song 🙂 I thought you referred to it. Sorry, my mistake.
