List 2 things you have to be happy about?
My husband and my sense of humor. I am entirely grateful for both. They make me happy, and make life easier.
It started when I gave up smoking and went from there!

Would you travel into outer space?
Not right now, we are in the middle of binge-watching “Lost” but next months would be fine.

What is your favorite part of the town/city you live in? And what Country do you live?
We live in Columbus, Ohio, and I still try to make peace with the city. I don’t like Ohio, and I am not objective when it comes to judging the state, the city or people who are from here. I treat the city like a one-night stand. Somehow it happened, but I prefer not to talk about it.

Willow, over at Willow’s Corner started to ask questions and invited me to participate. I agreed -not knowing what I would get myself into. Some of the questions are fun to answer; some are private. I wish I could “tag” Cee, Joanne, Lisa, and others. (Hey, guys…get the hint?)

What one thing are you really glad you did yesterday?
I tried a recipe that I didn’t want to cook at first, because it just didn’t sound right. A good friend had sent it to me and yesterday I finally decided to make it, just so that she would leave me alone.

What is your favorite piece of art? (it doesn’t have to be famous)
I bought this picture at a thrift store, for a the outrages amount of $7. I fell in love with it and it hangs since years in our living room. I wish I could make out the artists signature, because I would like to have more information about the picture and the painter. I think it’s a very unusual piece of art and I would like to know what the painter had in mind.
Are you a hugger or a non-hugger?
I am a hugger, a squeezer…BUT…only if I like and know someone. I can’t stand it when strangers try to hug me. That’s when I stiffen up and I show my disapproval with every bone in my body.
If you have been to a foreign country name those you have been too?
I was born in Europe, moved to the U.S. when I was 20 and started working for a company who paid me to travel the world. I have been very lucky, because I saw many places I wanted to see, but it was although a very stressful time. I packed and unpacked on an almost weekly base and I spend a lot of times in airplanes and airports. The only continent I haven’t been is Australia.
