I cannot proof it, but I am almost certain that a red warning light comes on each and every time I call our TV provider. Perhaps there is even a picture of me, with little horns and a trident?

Marlene had searched for her mother’s grave for a very long time.
All those years she had wondered what she would feel, surprisingly she didn’t feel anything.

I have a theory about Trump voters. First and foremost, there is the party voter. They follow blindly, just like an old woman in Ohio stated. “I am committed to supporting the conservative party, even if it’s being led by the “Jackass” Donald Trump.”

This woman held up a sign that says it all. We live in the 21st century and have to march for science. Absurd indeed! What better day for a protest for science, than Earth Day.

Department stores are closing left and right, hundreds will lose their jobs and once again it looks like we are not prepared. I can’t help but shake my head in disbelieve. “Seriously, we didn’t see that coming?”

Our yard is a mess right now. The weather doesn’t help, it’s cloudy and cold. It had rained all night long, dirt had been washed on the walkways. Everything has turned green already and lots of it are weeds. Every year I pull them all and every year they come back -all of it. It’s a race or a competition, and I am not so sure if I will ever win.

I work mostly standing up and lately, I can feel it in the evening. My feet are hurting, no matter what shoes I wear during the day, so I had the brilliant idea to order a foot massager, I thought that could do the trick.

We love them so much, and then a health scare comes along and reminds us that nothing lasts forever. The realization that one day, what we have and hold so dear to our heart could be taken away from us, takes our breath away.
