I think the question is wrong. It’s not IF we spend time in the past, but HOW we spend it. Are we grateful or regretful? Do we cherish the moments we had with loved ones, or do we still mourn even if decades have passed?

I’d dare to make more mistakes next time.
I’d relax. I would limber up.
I would be sillier than I have been on this trip.
I would take fewer things seriously.
I would take more chances.
I would take more trips.
I would climb more mountains and swim more rivers.
I would eat more ice cream and less beans.

“We have this old chair in the barn,” he started the conversation, and with that, he had my full attention. We talked on the phone for a while, we emailed back and forth, and then we finally met.

The amount of wrapping paper that many people use and then throw away around Christmas time is mindblowing. Rolls of glittery paper are being cut up, trashcans are overflowing at the 25th of December, even though it’s so easy to find environmental friendly ideas.

I work mostly standing up and lately, I can feel it in the evening. My feet are hurting, no matter what shoes I wear during the day, so I had the brilliant idea to order a foot massager, I thought that could do the trick.

I never win anything. Even at events where they have thousands of door prices, you can be sure I am the one who leaves there empty handed. I am fine with it. I don’t expect gifts, life has been good to me, no need for extra presents.

We all know the feeling when the rest of world around us just disappears, when we sit there in silence, in our favorite chair and we start daydreaming.
