Deep down inside they know they are dying, this line hit me hard! It that possible, did I smoke all those years knowing that I could die from it? Have I been in denial all those years?
Facing the truth can hurt…I didn’t like this poem at all. Too much truth and I just didn’t want to face it.
I tried to be a good girl, but there it was the whisper inside me, telling me “come on, why not nobody will know”. I listened and needless to say it never worked, I was always in trouble when I was a child.
Very often I read from the “Journey to the Heart” and I find this entry very fitting for everybody who wants to overcome an addiction like smoking.
Seriously? Does that mean I gained so much weight when I gave up smoking?

The guy listened to her heartbeat and said “she is gone” and I almost lost it; I grabbed the leash and her collar and left. I didn’t even say bye to anybody, I just needed some fresh air. “She is gone” hit hard, it took my breath away.
All you have to do is decide whether you’re ready or not. If the seed is planted in our minds, if the vision is there, then I believe we are… it’s just finding the strength to go for it!
A man was exploring caves by the seashore. In one of the caves he found a canvas bag with a bunch of hardened clay balls. It was like someone had rolled clay balls and left them out in the sun to bake.
Why don’t you give us a name? How can a group of 40 Million people just here in the USA walk around with an addiction and not have a name? We are called “smoker” but nothing bad about the name at all. No warning about what we really are…ADDICTS!
