We both have been sick for weeks -three weeks to be exact. We both had a cold that just lingered a bit longer than usual. I could hear my husband cough in his sleep and he said the same about me the next morning. We both finally took time off work, that’s something we rarely do.

Finally, my computer is back up and running. No more typing with tiny buttons on phone or tablet. Looking at a screen without reading glasses feels so much better.
I reinstalled my old calendar program and today in the morning an anniversary firework popped up. As usual, I would have forgotten, but today is my 4-year quit- anniversary. Smoke-free for 4 years and $8.760 saved, which I just can’t find.

Healthline has nominated the best Quit Smoking Blogs of 2017 and again, I am one of them, even though I hardly write about smoking anymore.

My husband is smoke-free since one month as of today. The first two weeks were tough on him; he had his moments, but they never lasted long enough to get the frying pan out.

I am on day #3 of juicing and my husband has just spent the first 9 days as an ex-smoker in his adult life. Needless to say, things in our house can be tense right now.

We were both smokers when we met and continued to smoke together throughout the years. We huddled up in front of a heater or a grill in the wintertime and sweat together in the summer time. For richer and poorer, through cold and heat-we were were a smoking team…and then I quit.

The best 8 Quit Smoking Blogs for 2016 have been chosen and like last year, I am one of them. My little blog won again and is mentioned by Healthline and I feel very, very humbled. This is more than just an award for blogging, this is real and outside of WordPress.
Being a smoking cessation blog is fun. Especially, when they try to tell me what I should post, or what I should endorse.
