Next week about his time, surgery will be over and I assume I will be laying happily and drugged up in a bed in the Cancer hospital. I still have a hard time with the fact that I am a patient in a cancer hospital, but I have learned to appreciate the nurses and doctors and as always, I have adjusted nicely to everything that the universe has thrown in my direction.

frog race 3

There once was a bunch of tiny frogs who got together to arrange a competition to reach to the top of the highest tower in town. As the date for the competition was announced, the news spread everywhere and crowd in large numbers gathered around the tower to see this interesting competition and cheer on the contestants. I don’t have to write it, I already did. I wrote this a few months ago and wouldn’t change a thing. Just in case my blog would become a viral sensation -most unlikely- this would be the post I would new readers to see first:

nope

I follow another ex-smokers blog and his post today made me aware of the fact, that I never talked about the daily N.O.P.E. pledge here on my blog. Tobacco-e-cigarette

E-cigarettes contain up to 10 times the level of cancer-causing agents as regular tobacco, Japanese scientists said yesterday, the latest blow to an invention once heralded as less harmful than smoking.

The electronic devices — increasingly popular around the world, particularly among young people — function by heating flavored liquid, which often contains nicotine, into a vapor that is inhaled, much like traditional cigarettes but without the smoke.

well done animated

The nation’s biggest mass quit attempt saw more people than ever helping each other through to 28 days without smoking. Stoptober showed that it is easier to quit smoking in a group, with lots of support and lots of motivation.
