Dear young one,
It’s me, your older – much older – self and that’s good news because as of today, you will at least live to be 60. So stay in shape, you have a long road ahead of you.

“I would recommend you stop taking the chemo drug until you feel better,” the nurse told me on the phone and I wasn’t sure what to make of it. I had gotten sick right before Christmas. Nothing dramatic, but concerning enough to call my doctor, who told me to consult with my Rheumatologist, who wasn’t available at first, so I ended up talking to her nurse.

All of us –without exception– go through difficult periods and sometimes even substantial crises in our lives. We feel like we are on a ship without an anchor, we feel hopelessness and powerlessness. Sometimes we just feel blue without any reason, other times we have to overcome a loss and hardship.
We feel overwhelmed, frustrated, and burnt out. What to do?

Now that’s a Daily prompt that I haven’t seen before and I can’t resist to answer.
Less is more, that would be my advice, it I would have to nail it down to one advice only.
I have a very good friend, she and I go way back. She is African American and one of the most beautiful woman I have ever seen. I am tall, blonde, with blue eyes and freckles, she is a dark skinned Goddess and the poster child for the word “petite”. We are quiet a pair.
