“The Station”
Tucked away in our subconscious is an idyllic vision.
We are traveling by train, out the windows,
we drink in the passing scenes of children
waving at a crossing,
cattle grazing on a distant hillside,
row upon row of corn and wheat,
flatlands and valleys,
mountains and rolling hillsides
and city skylines.

“Advice is what we ask for when we already know the answer but wish we didn’t.” ~Erica Jong

A lot of people gave me lots of advice in my life, especially when I was younger. Some suggestions were welcomed, others not so much. Over the years I learned to sort them into two piles “good”, meaning it’s worth thinking about it and “bad”, meaning not worth the trouble.
