The picture of the older gentleman, sitting alone, enjoying his cappuccino. All dressed up, showing the world that he doesn’t care or ask for our approval. Overdressed? I don’t think there is such a thing. One can never be overdressed if you have the confidence to be comfortable -no matter what you wear.
I think I found my style when I was in my mid 30’s. That was the age, when I was finally comfortable with myself and confident enough to think outside the box.
I don’t let magazines or trends dictate what I wear, or what I have to like. I was just joking around “is not having a style a style?” Now, in my 50’s, I am the most confident I have ever been.
The daily prompt asked me today how important clothes are for me. Well, let me think. I am over 50, so they have to fit, have to be comfortable, have to make me look sexy, have to be made out of a cooling, menopausal friendly material that would please a Goddess and they should be dirt cheap. Yep, that pretty much sums it up.
