Just a few hours ago I was listening to Prince on my iPod while I was whirling through the house like a mad woman and now -a couple of hours later- I feel shocked and sad, because I heard the news that he is dead.
The passing of the purple man saddens me, it saddens me a lot; so much that I took a break from my spring break to honor him on my little blog.
I lost a friend, a very good friend; just heard about it before Christmas. No, let me rephrase this. I lost one of my best friends, she died and I didn’t even know about it. I didn’t know about it, because we weren’t talking.
All this time wasted Not speaking All this time hoping It would change There wasn’t much time left But we didn’t know Now you are gone RIP Sandy
A good of friend of mine passed away recently. She was 95 1/2 years old and it wasn’t unexpected, but still death left a mark once again. I met her when she was in her late 80’s and fell instantly in love with the little, stubborn, old Lady, who became our neighbor.
Lately, I seem to have encounters with people who have never heard of common sense, so it’s time to publish the following obituary. It was printed in the London times a few years back.
