Hands

First of all, thank you to all the drunks who voted for me Saturday in the Evening, because that’s the only explanation I have, why I became the new leader of our country.

I although hope that it’s only for one day, because I have “stuff” to do tomorrow and moving to Washington, before the wintertime doesn’t sound so tempting either.

I am tired of abuse in any form or way. Children are getting abused and molested, young girls and women are held like slaves against their will for a long time, sometimes even for a life time. Many women, who think they fell in love with Prince Charming have a rude awakening and end up beaten up and broken. But abuse works both ways, it’s not just the girls and women, boys and men can end up in an abusive relationship too. There are no gender restrictions for bullying.

So, I declare it the law of the land to start self defense classes in every school and in every kindergarten.

“Boys and girls, this will be fun, there will be great teachers and counselors available and we will have fun competitions nationwide. Ice cream and cake, music and laughter. There will be special classes for ones with physical restrictions, so everybody will be able to participate. The classes are mandatory, there is no way out, we will make it fun.”

Sorry not really funny I suppose, just a heartfelt wish, because I truly believe it would change a lot.

The Fun Platform

If you were the new leader of your country and had the chance to transform something that’s currently an annoyance (or worse) into a very fun activity, what would it be? How would you go about the change, and why would you choose that particular thing?

  1. Not that I answered your question. Okay, maybe I’d dump standardized testing from school and start life skills for all kids much earlier on. Of course, academics are the mainstay of education, but kids should start learning early on from a practical, functional standpoint as well.

    Just sayin 😉

  2. I believe one person can make a difference, with some help from the surrounding circumstances.

    But…

If nothing else, one person can definitely set change in motion, even by planting a seed. Actions add up.

    • No and it wouldn’t be anything that I would read. There were always women who abused man as well, nobody talked about it, it’s hidden as well. People make fun of man like that.

Yes, they sure do do that! I wanted to tell you I’m trying to get to your challenge today. Am in the middle of packing and trying to get posts scheduled for when I’m gone. I think that’s a losing battle. But if by some chance I don’t get to it, I’ll be back on task when we get home on the 23rd and will hop on the next one. Don’t give up on me!

Are you so innocent to believe that in my country anything could be changed ?
….and by only one person (me, in this case)?
    Auguri a tutti!
