I hurt a kid when I was a little girl. I had said some ugly things in anger, and it made me feel bad later that day when I was back at home. The girl had been mean first -that was my excuse- but still I didn’t feel good about it. I shouldn’t have said the things I said.

When I was a just a little girl I had a best friend named “Dusie.” She knew the dark secrets of my early childhood, back then when I was just a little girl and I still lived with my birth-givers. She was there when I cried and she was there when I laughed and played. She stayed with me when I left my parents house, to live with my Grandmother.

“Where do animals go?” That was one of the main questions I asked when I was a child, “Do they go to heaven too?”
A very good friend sent me a link to an article in the Huffington post today, “10 Facts to impress your bored kid while apple picking this fall,” and I had to laugh. Not a very interesting article for many, but I do remember well and the article brought back some funny memories.
