Yes, there is something I always wanted to do. I have one big dream left, I would like to open a restaurant, but a different kind of restaurant…
The rumor that former smokers become the worst non-smokers is true after all and I am the living proof. Let’s face it; I am the most annoying ex-smoker in the making.
Can somebody please print some flyers and let me stand on a street corner?

The longest day of the year is still special to me…
Today’s Summer Solstice, the longest day of the year (in the Northern Hemisphere). How are you taking advantage of the extra hours of light this time of year? Do you like it, or do you already miss earlier sunsets?
I was born and raised in Europe and the celebration of the longest day of the year was always a big spectacle. The planning of that special night of midsummer went on for days and everybody, young and old was involved.
Once upon a time a young woman complained to her grandmother that her life was miserable and that she didn’t know how she was going to make it. She was tired of fighting and struggling all the time. I get lost of emails every day, phone calls, messages and some even dare to text me, even though I really don’t like it. There is so much new information every day, some goes on the pile “useful”, some goes on the pile “might be useful” and then there is a very small pile. It doesn’t have a name, but it’s the most important one. Different “stuff”, but all of it touched my heart in one way or another. I got this today and it touched my heart, I starred at it for a while. So, even though it has nothing to do with smoking or quitting (yes I know hart to believe) I would like to share it with all of you.
