I promise I wanted one yogurt, not 19. 🙂 Mango yogurt, dairy-free, made from coconut milk. It’s my favorite but I almost fainted when I opened the grocery bag. It made me laugh, but it also showed me to double-check all the orders I call in.

We are both sick, nothing dramatic, it’s just a cold but this one is a tough one. It seems it’s going around and everybody has a hard time with it. It lingers and it’s hard to shake it off.

My quest to help save this planet was doomed to fail right from the start. “Put the lunch meat and the cheese in my containers, no plastic bags, please,” and with a determined, but not confident smile I handed her my food containers, yet she didn’t take them.

And just like that, we are back in saving mode, all it took was a head of Nappa cabbage. It’s not like I didn’t notice it before, but like so many of us, I tried for a while not to think about it. That changed, when we paid $13.99 for a five-pound head of Nappa Cabbage, that’s when I hit the breaks hard. My husband, the brave man beside me on our life’s journey, as so often, didn’t know what hit him, even though he knows I can be impulsive, perhaps sometimes even a bit dramatic. I am female, what can I say?
