A while back a blogger wrote about the difference between Facebook and the blogging world. She praised the HONESTY in the blogging world, and I couldn’t help but wince inside. Ever since I have not participated much, had to rethink my stand in the virtual world.

I have been a fan of the Daily Prompt from the start. Well, maybe not from the outset. First I had to find my way around but then, after I had found it, that’s when I was hooked.

I hit “Publish” and it felt good. I had worked for hours on a rather long post, and I was eager to see the reaction. I couldn’t wait to read what my blogging friends had to say and right then and there –BOOM – the little bell showed me the first “Like.”

I have noticed some new faces on my blog, and I am thrilled. For me, it’s not about the numbers or statistics, but rather about the new, upcoming interactions I might have with all of you in the future.

I often wish that old furniture could talk. What a story many of these antique pieces could tell. Where do they come from? Who made them and who did they belong to? All the people they have met and most importantly, what brought them into my little workshop.

Something interesting happened yesterday to me in the blogging world, something, that might explain while I don’t see some bloggers anymore. I made a mistake and I have to say, I feel a little embarrassed. Embarrassed, because I didn’t follow the #1 blogging rule. I did not just not follow it, no, I bend it…broke it. I am a bad, bad blogger (I think that’s what I am suppose to say now.)

“Honey, have you seen my GPS system?” I couldn’t find it, looked everywhere. My husband shook his head. First I didn’t want a GPS system. What for? Then I fell in love with it and took it with me all the time. Helpful little device, when you are on the road…even though it doesn’t get it all. Turning into a drive-through is not an illegal u-turn, it’s legal and nesseccary.
