How does the song and the video make you feel?

First, the song found me. What an interesting melody. The voice and the tempo, are all very distinctive. Then I stumbled over the poem and it spoke to me. I suppose that’s how blogging works sometimes. First, you don’t know what to write about, you want to skip a day or two, and then a post comes together about a subject you didn’t feel about writing -yet you do it anyway because now you just have to.

June was a month of contradictions. Church or strip club? (More about this later) My nerves got the best of me, by now I act like a snapping turtle. Mostly calm on the outside but boy, if you come too close I will bite your head off if I get a chance.

“If one more person shows me their prisoner number, I will punch a holocaust survivor.” I didn’t mean it, not even close, but hoped that somehow it would explain how helpless I felt. The situation was too much for me to handle. The sins of our fathers had been transferred to me, and I felt treated unfairly. It made me angry and so sad.

It had fascinated me, yet I couldn’t remember its name. It makes music out of nothing. “It’s a diddley wiggly thing.” I tried to remember what it had been called but my memory failed me -again.
